Spanish Grand Prix FP3:

By Harry Schofield

Lewis Hamilton was quickest in the final practice session before this afternoon’s qualifying session.

Valterri Bottas had a rare error as he lost the back end of his Mercedes and got stuck in the gravel causing the first red flag of the session.

The Ferrari’s of  and Charles Leclerc and Sebastian Vettel were 2nd and 4th.

The first of the Red Bull’s , Max Verstappen was 7th 0.990 of the pace.

George Russell continues Williams bad luck as he crashed into the barriers at turn 4, red flagging the session and ultimately bring the session to an early end.

It looks like Mercedes do have the edge again going into qualifying but Charles Leclerc’s Ferrari does look mightily quick and stable, for  sure it will be a very close call, and if Ferrari do step up the engines it will be a fantastic qualifying session.
