Tatiana Calderon will continue as test driver for the Alfa Romeo Formula 1 team in 2019.
Tatiana drove her first Formula 1 car in Mexico City in 2018, Tatiana then completed another full two days of testing in Fiorano track a few weeks later.
This is a big moment for Formula 1 and the sport should encourage more women drivers into the sport, Formula 1 needs people like Tatiana to grow the sport from a male dominated sport to have more lady drivers on the Formula 1 grid.
With testing restrictions having a big impact on how when when the cars can be driven, this is something that needs to be looked at by the sports organisers to help more people get involved in Formula 1 .
Alfa Romeo will be watched closely by the fans and sport alike to see how the Columbian driver makes it into a full race seat for 2020 or the way the driver market is she could potentially have a race seat secure by the end of this season.
